NANCÉ AGRESTA, LCSW, CASAC, NCACII

Nancé Agresta, LCSW, CASAC, NCACII, started her career in 1985 at the Realization Center in New York City. She worked as a group facilitator with sexual abuse, addictions, gender issues, bereavement and mood disorders. During this time Nance' also worked closely with South Oaks Hospital in Amityville, Long Island providing aftercare for men and women with eating disorders. Additionally she has been a volunteer at Identity House in New York City and God's Love We Deliver.

An alumnus of New York University, Nance' interned at Jacobi Hospital under the Direction of Dr. Lili Rysz. Nance' is a licensed clinical social worker certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), addictions and level II addiction supervision. She also leads workshops for couples. Nance' has been in private practice since 1985. Recently she has joined the New Jersey Task Force for Postpartum Depression, adding another venue to her already extensive counseling practice. She is a member of International Humanity Group, EMDR, NADDAC, Women United in Philanthropy, Postpartum Resources of New York, Inc., Postpartum Support International, and the National Association of Social Workers.

KIMBERLY AGRESTA, MSW, LCSW

Kimberly Agresta, MSW,LCSW earned her Masters degree in Clinical Social Work at New York University. She interned at the Division of Family Guidance in Hackensack, New Jersey. There Kimberly worked with children of all ages and their families providing therapy and needed resources. She also interned at The Center for Marital and Family Therapy in New York City where she continued her work with children and families as well as individuals and couples.
Kimberly has worked in the mental health profession in various capacities for over 14 years. Her specialties include depression, anxiety disorders, relationship counseling, women's issues and family and group therapy. Additionally, Kimberly has experience in developing and conducting workshops for couples, new mothers and individuals.

During her years in private practice Kimberly became increasingly interested in women's issues and the way in which they impact the entire family system as well as the woman, herself. Kimberly’s work and focus on women’s issues encompass everything from self-esteem, body image, self-mutilating behaviors, and eating disorders to fertility and reproductive issues, postpartum depression, and issues specific to elderly women.

Kimberly strives to provide psychotherapy and counseling services according to the highest standards of professional performance in a climate of respect for the individual. She has been working in private practice for the past ten years and has offices in both New York and New Jersey.

Kimberly is a member of the National Association of Social Workers in New York and New Jersey. She is on the Postpartum Depression Task Force in New Jersey and is a member of Postpartum Resources of New York, Postpartum Support International and Women United in Philanthropy.

DR. LILI RYSZ, MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Dr. Lili Rysz, Medical Director of Agresta Psychotherapy Group, brings over twenty years of experience in the field of psychiatry to the organization.

Dr. Rysz received her medical degree from the Medical School at Stony Brook in 1981 after completing a degree in Biomedical Education at Sophie Davis Center at the City of New York University. She then completed her residency in psychiatry at St. Vincent's Hospital in New York and worked as an attending psychiatrist in Jacobi Medical Center Inpatient Psychiatry Unit. Dr Rysz is assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry. She is board certified in psychiatry and neurology. Additionally, Dr. Rysz is an Independent Psychiatric Examiner for the Supreme Court Appellate Division.
Since 1987, Dr. Rysz has been the Medical Director of Substance Abuse for the North Bronx Healthcare Network where she is responsible for the operation of Jacobi Medical Center and North Central Bronx Hospital's Growth and Recovery 1035 program. Along with this demanding schedule, Dr. Rysz has successfully maintained a private practice in Manhattan. Dr. Rysz is a member of many professional societies including the American Medical Association, American Psychological Association, and New York State Medical Society.
